Sam Finkelstein is a fourth generation Jewish New Yorker.
He recently earned an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Hunter College. Seriously, he suffered for it. His thesis, How to Talk to Zionists, outlines the rhetorical tools and pitfalls that anti-Zionists should employ and avoid when engaging with Liberal Zionists, heavily informed by his own Liberal Zionist upbringing and his many exhausting arguments with the Zionists in his life. In short, it’s a handbook for making more Jews hate Israel. He is expanding it into a full length book. Sam’s other writing, fiction and nonfiction, discusses gay men’s sexuality, Judaism in a liberated future, and general musings.
